Together, let's open the way towards an accessible, affordable and diversified energy transition in Brussels!

On November 9, 2023, the Sibelga "Stakeholders Event" was held during which architect Vincent Callebaut had the honor of being the Keynote Speaker on the theme: "The Ecological Transition Towards A Net-Zero Carbon City"

Thanks to Inne Mertens, CEO of Sibelga, for these few highlights of this event of reflection and exchange:

The energy transition is not just a matter for the energy sector, especially in an urban context like in Brussels. Collaboration between different sectors, such as construction and mobility, guidance from public authorities, inspiration from academia and, above all, customer involvement, is essential to meeting our common challenges.

It is also an opportunity to recall the 3 major challenges that Sibelga is targeting as the Brussels manager of the gas and electricity networks: 

1. Production of renewable energy

2. Sustainable mobility

3. Future of heating

In short, we look forward to continuing to join forces with our partners to co-build the Brussels of tomorrow!

Le 9 Novembre 2023 s’est tenu le "Stakeholders Event" de Sibelga durant lequel l'architecte Vincent Callebaut a eu l'honneur d'être le Keynote Speaker autour du thème : "La Transition Ecologique Vers Une Ville Net-Zero Carbone"

Merci à Inne Mertens, CEO de Sibelga, pour ces quelques temps forts de cet événement de réflexion et d’échange : 

La transition énergétique n'est pas que l'affaire du secteur de l'énergie, surtout dans un contexte urbain comme à Bruxelles. La collaboration entre différents secteurs, tels que la construction et la mobilité, les orientations des pouvoirs publics, l'inspiration du monde académique et, surtout, l'implication des clients, est essentielle pour relever nos défis communs. 

L’occasion également de rappeler les 3 grands challenges que Sibelga vise en tant que gestionnaire bruxellois des réseaux de gaz et d’électricité : 

1. Production d’énergie renouvelable

2. Mobilité durable

3. Avenir du chauffage

Bref, nous avons hâte de continuer à unir nos forces avec nos partenaires pour co-construire le Bruxelles de demain !
