To metamorphose is to transform the caterpillar into a butterfly.
Metamorphosis does not mean making a clean sweep of the past, but on the contrary, save the best of each era to build a desirable future.
This metamorphosis of the Anciens National Thermal Baths of Aix-les-Bains is marked by a new stage: the rehabilitation work has been launched! A new story is being written for the Frmer National Thermal Baths, a historic and emblematic site of the city, closed to the public since 2021.
This project, developed in co-promotion by our project developers Bouygues Immobilier and Société d'Aménagement de la Savoie (SAS) , has 3 main objectives:
1. Create a mixed low-carbon complex of housing, offices and businesses to revitalize the city center,
2. Conserve and enhance heritage,
3. Allow residents to reclaim this emblematic place of the city, by making it accessible again.
An emblematic adpatatve reuse operation for Vincent Callebaut Architectures, Paris, in line with our commitments on numerous aspects: ecological regeneration of the city above the city, urban greening, circular economy and biobased materials, integration of bioclimatism and renewable energies, preservation of heritage and support for communities in the revitalization of city centers.
